It’s another long weekend in SA – and that makes me happy.
Time to visit more markets, secondhand shops and maybe even an auction room – and look for all things chippy, French and beautiful. (I was going to say bright and beautiful – but I so DON’T do bright!) J
I love clocks, especially as you are able to decorate with them in so many different ways, be it outside, inside, grouped together, or standing alone. Obviously for those of us that love re-cycling, old ones are more precious, and whether they are in working order or not – decorating and displaying these can be such fun.
Over the weeks I have found some of the most gorgeous clocks through other blogs, décor mags, online decorating sites or interior shops. Interesting to see how people decorate with clocks.
I hope this inspires you to show off your time pieces in a unique and fun way.
Enjoy.
Right up my alley - old, chippy, "in your face"..... |
This outside display really appealed to me. If your house is not spacious enough to display such a large clock - think outside the box! :) |
Ok! So this is HUGE! But on an enclosed courtyard or patio area - it's a work of art! |
I love the fact that these owners have just left this clock leaning against the wall. |
These most definitely make a statement all grouped together. |
