Don’t you just love old wooden crates? Whether they are apple crates, bottle crates, potato crates – I just simply adore them.
Of course if they still have the company’s name tec., on the sides – I love them even more!
I was searching the web for ideas of how they are used in décor and in and around the home, and was surprised to see how many uses there actually are for these vintage boxes!
Just love this wall filled with crates - but if it were in my home - those crates would have been white washed! |
I love the pure vintage of this crate. Worn and weathered adds so much character - especially against the stark white couch! |
This crate would have looked perfect had it had ball feet attached! |
With so much white surround it, this crate is lovely left just the way it was found! |
The oldest crate - and probably one of the nicest! |
Love the ideas of putting castors on the bottom of a wooden crate. |
Probably not even an old crate - but the idea was there! Perfect colour, and gorgeous stencilling. |
Totally perfect! Once again - those castors really do it for me! |
This is apparently an old potato crate. Saw it for sale on a UK wensite and it was a fortune! |
And even a crate for eggs - how nifty is that? |
